Ride Leader: Ken

What a great way to start the New Year off for Chapter 124 but a ride with 13 bike and 15 wonderful friends. We meet at exit 82 off of I-20 at the Shell station. After a ride briefing by our ride leader Ken it was off to find a place to eat, which is not very hard to do for this group (I think Ken had a place in mind). Yep he did have a very nice place in mind in Rock Hill [Bob Evans]. To get there running the interstate would take about 45 minutes, but that’s not the way we ride; it was all back roads. It seems that the waitress knows Ken and Deb. You would have to have been there to understand, it was fun, and she made the day. The food was good also. But like all good things they have to come to an end, so it was back to Columbia via the back roads. Our last stop was at Sonic in Lugoff where we sat around and talked till we decided to go our different ways home. Thanks to all for making the first ride of the New Year a very enjoyable one. Here’s to many, many more enjoyable rides in the coming year!
