Ride Leader Judy Frick

First thing let me thank George Parsons for allowing me to be the first lady ride leader. Next what a day - the weather couldn't have been any better. Everyone started arriving at the Flying "J" around 9:00, we had 20 bikes and 27 riders. There were (3) visitors (Sueard & Jill Long and Joseph James) and also riding with the group for the first time on their own bikes was Donna Mabry and Vickie Knight. I announced that I would only be able to do 1/3 of the trip but that Johnny would take over leading the trip with Don Mabry and George Gooch being the blockers.  The weather was overcast and a little cool, but 20 mi. away the sun was shinning bright.  We arrived at the Beacon around noon and enjoyed a lunch of that great greasy food.  Soon it was time to return home.  We arrived safely back in Columbia around 3:30. We said our goodbyes and are looking forward to the Savannah trip.
