Ride leader: Cajun

We met at the Flying J truck stop off  I-20 at 9am. It was a cloudy over-cast morning with a chance of rain. But there were 8 riders on 7 bikes that were ready to enjoy the day. We left at 9:30am heading for Caroline's diner in Elgin, SC, for most people that would be about a 30 mile ride but not Chapter 124! It would take us 145 miles of back roads to get to our destination. At our second rest stop of the morning I called Caroline's to let them know that we were on the way, also Rick called Andrea and I called Lea to meet us at the diner. They didn't want to get wet. As far as getting wet, if you count getting rained on for about 1/2 a minute then, it rained on us. We got to Caroline's around 12 noon for some good food and fellowship. After eating Caroline's famous cornflake chicken, we all rode to the Barnyard Flea Market to look around. What more could a rider ask for, the weather was good, good friends and good food!!!
