Ride Leader: Rick Floyd

Wow!!! What a day 14 bikes a van and one jeep 23 people in all. The weather started out to be pretty cool (52 degrees) but after about an hour into the ride the sun came out from behind the clouds and it was warm weather the rest of the day. We were making our second rest stop in Goose Creek and just as we were getting ready to leave Cajun asked the group if they could wait up for about ten minutes. He had been talking to a young man about the group and had invited him to ride into Charleston with us. Once we got into the city of Charleston it was a little touch and go keeping the group together between the red lights and the traffic but everyone made it to the parking garage. We stopped and took pictures of the group on the steps of the Customs House. Rick let us know what time to be back for the return trip home. Then it was off to eat and look at all of the different sites on Market Street. At 3:30 we all gathered at the steps of the Customs House and walked back to the parking garage for the ride home. Rick did one heck of a job keeping the group together getting us out of Charleston. It was a great ride, the food was outstanding and most of all the fellowship enjoyed by all.
