Ride Leader: Cajun

I didn’t get to the starting point till 1:25pm and everyone was already there. As soon as I pulled up someone said that Mark was having a problem with his bike. So I went to look at it and he had oil all over the right side of his engine and down the back. I told him that I would go and get my truck and trailer and bring his bike to my home. Mark said that he did not want to mess up our ride, that his wife might be able to borrow a trailer from his neighbor. Well that’s not the way Chapter 124 works (we do not leave anyone behind). The group told Mike that they would wait till I got his bike over to my place and till his wife came to pick him up. All of this took around one and a half hours. Once I got back it was off on the ride, the weather was great and with 10 Bikes and 11 people what more could you ask for. The ride took us on some back roads through Pontiac, Elgin and Lugoff.  Because of the time I decided to cut the ride short and made our last stop at Sonic in Lugoff.  It’s like I always say: It’s not the destination but the journey that counts.
