Ride Leader: George Gooch

The day was cloudy and mild.  We had 19 motorcycles and with 24 riders out to enjoy this short ride.  The group traveled from Spears creek road to Percival road. to Hwy 601 to Camden.  Where we turned on Hwy 97 going North to Great Falls.  At Great Falls we stopped at the Shell station for a break before proceeding on Hwy 21 to Blythewood and the Southern Pig BBQ.  We arrived at 1230 for lunch. This was a great ride for a warm winter day. We had 4 new riders with the group, Charles and Andrea Collum riding a Intruder, Charles Sterns on his 650 V-Star and Billy Knight who has driven his truck and trailer for us but today, He road his brothers Harley.  Johnny and Judy Frick meet us as we were coming into Ridgeway and road the remainder of the ride.  I was extremely pleased with the turn out and missed all the cold. Our next ride will be lead by Don Mabry and be similar to this one but starting out in the Lexington.
