CHAPTER #124 - March 15, 2004

 

President Jim Woods opened the meeting and thanked everyone for coming. 

We had 64 people present at the meeting including 11 visitors.  Four of these joined the club.

We are still trying to reach an attendance of 100 people.

The drawing this month was $200.00 so $100.00 went to our winner Lisa Woodall, Congratulations Lisa.  This brings our Star Riders balance to $497.00.

Johnny Frick will lead a ride to the Beacon in Spartanburg on March 20.  Meet at the Flying J at Highway 321 and I-20 at 9:00 a.m. and be ready to pull out at 9:30 a.m.  They will be riding the main roads but will return a different way that how they go.  This is the same ride that was scheduled for March 6 but due to rain was cancelled.  Remember the 50/50 ride rule.

George Parson reminded the group about the April ride to Young Harris and the plans for that trip April 15-18.  Tonight is the last night to sign up and there is one room left.  He also told us about 2 club rides that will be posted to the website for April.  April 10 around the Lake Wateree area and April 25^th to Lake Greenwood.

George also reminded us about the overnight ride to Waynesville in July and the long weekend trip to Elkin NC in September.
