THE RUMBLINGS
President Jim Woods
opened the meeting and thanked everyone for coming.
Jim announced that Eason Memorial Baptist Church in Eastover (Michael
Smather’s church) is having Bike Day on March 30 and would love for anyone to
come and ride their bike. The
festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the service at 11:00 a.m.
David Fulmer of
American National Insurance Company was at the meeting to talk about motorcycle
insurance and how his company has very competitive rates.
He passed out brochures and said they only insure cruisers.
If you have good credit scores, low claims and a good driving record he
says they can beat anyone’s rates. If
you insure your cars, house and motorcycles with him and are claims free for 3
years you will receive a 25% discount. They
also have insurance that includes an accessories program up to $20,000 for all
those extras!!
David Smith
brought the clubs 3 new MRC-11 radios and demonstrated how they operate.
Jim Berkley will use them this Saturday on the ride.
Speaking of the
Saturday ride……….. All
interested will meet in the Lexington Kmart parking lot and be ready to leave at
10:00 a.m. It will be a casual ride
through the countryside including Batesburg, Johnson, North Augusta and Aiken.
They will eat Bar B Q in Aiken and then head back to Columbia.

this month was $80.00 and was split with winner Jim Berkley.
Congratulations Jim!!
George
Parsons reminded us about the April ride to Deals Gap and said he had a room
coming available if you know of anyone that would like to go.
Lowell Thomas

you are interested in this position or helping someone with this position,
please contact President Jim Woods.
We had another
guest this month beside David Fulmer from American National Insurance.
Please welcome Ron Tunstill who rides a V Star 1100 and make him feel a
part of our group in your usual fashion.
